Upcoming Programs

September Program:

Saturday, September 9 at 10 am

Susan Stutts, Assistant Director of Texas Forestry Association, will give a presentation on the Texas Tree Farm Program at the Pizza Inn in Pittsburg. Many of our association members have property that has been certified in Tree Farm. If your property is not a Tree Farm, come get information about the program and decide if the program has something for you.

Susan will address Tree Farm re-inspection, management plan updates, and other requirements to verify that good stewardship practices expected of participants in the American Tree Farm System are being followed.

The Pizza Inn is located at 1000 North Greer (US Hwy 271) in Pittsburg.

November Program:

Saturday, November 11 at 10 am

Allen Smith, Regional Forest Health Coordinator, Texas A&M Forest Service will give a program on “Common Forest Health Problems and Solutions. The meeting is tentatively scheduled for Saturday November 11 at The Pizza Inn in Pittsburg.
